Description:
Challen were a prolific piano maker in the 1930’s and this is one their very popular baby grands. Finished in satin mahogany with some attractive detailing in the casework sides. This was originally built in 1931 but has just been fully restored with new strings, tuning pins and replacement hammers. It is one of the smallest baby grands so will fit into a relatively small space. The tone is pleasant but somewhat limited in depth due to the shallow depth of the piano. It comes with a 3 year warranty and the price includes local ground floor delivery and an on-site tuning.
