Challen are one of the older names in British piano manufacturing dating back to 1830. This model is from 1980 when the name had been acquired by Barratt & Robinson and therefore has the Kastner-Wehlau action. This action features the floating centres which aim to reduce the wear that more traditional felt centres suffered from. We have been able to keep the price very competitive on this model as we didn’t need to strip and rebuild the action. Serviced, tuned and delivered locally within the price, a great starter piano.
